Carlos Prates isn’t best pleased with Islam Makhachev’s decision to let these two contenders battle it out, instead of simply taking on the most deserving number one contender, which would probably have been Prates.\n\nIn a recent interview, Carlos Prates had a few more things to say about Islam Makhachev and how everything has played out.\n\n## Carlos Prates expresses anger at Islam Makhachev\n\n“He comes out saying he wants to be an active champion, this and that,” Prates told Laerte Viana. “Hunter [Campbell] even said that date was reserved for him.
